ask-21Built in Germany by Alexander- Schleicher the ASK-21 is a glass-reinforced plastic, two seat, mid-wing, T-tail glider known for its very docile flight characteristics, easy handling - both on the ground and in the air, a roomy and comfortable cockpit and excellent visibility. The ASK-21 was designed primarily as an introductory trainer but is suitable for cross-country flying and aerobatic training.  The ASK-21 took its first flight in December 1978, was introduced in 1979. Over 750 have been built.
