A Polish sailplane, the SZD-54 Perkoz is known as the top model of the SZD family. A two-seater of fiberglass composite combines the experience of 50 years of glider manufacturing. The Perkoz offers safe and simple handling in all flying situations as well as a comfortable tandem cockpit with excellent visibility. The Perkoz is approved for aerobatic flight and provides a hydraulic brake which is operated by a lever on the stick. Altogether over 5000 SZD gliders have been built and sold worldwide.
